If you use a Newifi3 D2 or Gocloud firmware, you have probably seen the terms load balancing and Multi-WAN on networking forums. This guide shows how to configure them on Gocloud.
- This configuration may not work in some regions.
- This guide uses the Gocloud 4.x interface. Some menus may be different in version 5.x.
Download Gocloud firmware for Newifi3 D2 .
1. Configure virtual WAN interfaces
Log in to the Gocloud management interface. In the left column, choose MultiWAN > MultiDial.
Set the values as follows:

| PPPoE Username | The PPPoE username supplied by your ISP |
| PPPoE Password | The PPPoE password supplied by your ISP |
| Concurrent Dialing | Nonconcurrent |
| Dialing Times | The number of virtual WANs to create |
| Select ISP | Other |
| Line Type & Bandwidth | Choose a value close to or slightly above your actual line |
| Upload Bandwidth | Maximum upload speed; for a 60 Mbps line, use 60 × 1000 = 60000 |
| Download Bandwidth | Same principle as Upload Bandwidth |
Click Save & Apply.
2. Configure Multi-WAN policy routing
Open MultiWAN PBR, then select the Multiwan tab.
Set:
| FIELD | VALUE |
|---|---|
| Router mode | Load balancing mode: router by weight |
| Load Balance Type | Addr + Port |

Save the settings.
After completing the configuration, open System Status > Interface Overview. The IP Address and Gateway columns should show the virtual WAN addresses. If they remain empty, the feature may be restricted or fixed by the ISP in your region.
