5+1 Switch: Six High-Speed Ports in a Small Chassis

ACWiFi opened an unnamed “5+1” switch with five 2.5G ports and one 10G SFP+ slot. The article mentions a purchase price of about 96 yuan at that time, not a stable market price.

It uses a 12V/1A supply and measured 1.4 W with no links and 2.9 W with two 2.5G links active. The chassis is under 14 cm long, useful on a small desk, but ventilation and SFP+ module compatibility still matter.

For an unknown-brand switch, check thermals, supply quality, firmware, loop protection, and SFP+ compatibility. Low wattage is not proof of sustained-load capability or managed features.
